The Invisible Hat

A long time ago, there was a strange village where everybody in that village was very unhappy and never smiled. Little Tom was the only person in the village who would laugh, so that the others didn’t like him. He had an invisible hat which performed any duty Tom gave it. Let’s see whether Tom would be able to make the people laugh.
